Privacy Policy

Everdate helps couples create date invites, share plans, save memories, and discover date ideas. This policy explains what we collect, why we use it, and how you can manage or delete your data.

Information We Collect

We collect account information you provide, including your email address, display name, username, profile photo, bio, onboarding answers, and pairing status.

We store date and invite content you create, including titles, date type or vibe, location text, date and time, visibility settings, invite artwork, uploaded images, stickers, text layout, screen effects, send status, responses, stars, and remixes.

When you choose to use app features, we may process push notification tokens, calendar actions, support messages, bug reports, runtime diagnostics, and app interaction events used to keep Everdate reliable.

Photos, Artwork, And My Stuff

If you add photos from your camera roll, Everdate uses those photos to build your invite. Avatar images and invite artwork may be stored with our app backend so they can appear on your devices and to the people you share with.

The editor area called My Stuff is intended to stay local to your device for v1 unless we clearly introduce syncing later.

Public And Private Dates

Private or recipient-only dates are meant to be visible only to the people included in that date. Public dates may appear in Discover so other users can browse, star, or remix them for inspiration.

If you change your profile visibility to private, your public dates may be hidden from Discover.

Subscriptions And Purchases

Everdate Plus purchases on iOS are handled through Apple and RevenueCat. Everdate does not store full payment card details. We store subscription status, entitlement status, product identifiers, expiration details, and shared Plus access so the app knows what features are available.

Service Providers

We use Supabase for authentication, database, storage, and server-side app actions. We use RevenueCat for subscription and entitlement management. We use Sentry for crash and error reporting. We use Expo services for push notification delivery.

How We Use Information

We use your information to create and show dates, send and receive invites, pair accounts, keep subscription access in sync, send app notifications, improve performance, prevent misuse, provide support, and maintain the safety and reliability of the service.

Deleting Your Account

You can request account deletion from inside the Everdate app. Deleting your account removes your profile and associated app data we are not required to keep. Deleting your Everdate account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription; subscriptions must be managed through your App Store account.

Data Retention

We keep data while your account is active or as needed to provide Everdate. We may retain limited records when required for security, support, legal, tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention reasons.

Children

Everdate is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Everdate, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.

Your Choices

You can update your profile, change date visibility, manage notification permissions, delete your account, or contact us to ask about your data. Some rights vary by location.
